Soccer World's Beach Soccer Tour

Soccerorld Polson Pier is introducing Canada's First Beach Soccer Tour.

A soft sand surface, players trying diving headers, bicycle kicks and spectacular tricks. Beach Soccer tends to be played more in the air than regular soccer, with quick flicks and volleying.

The rules of the game are generally the same as grass except the following...

• An Average of 10 goals scored per game and a shot taken every 20 seconds
• 5 v 5 (4 players + a keeper), exception U10, U11, U12 divisions (7 per side), Substitutions on the fly
• No offsides, No shoes, cleats or shinpads (but socks can be worn to protect feet)
• Three 11 minute periods, (separated by two minute intermission)
• Kick-ins rather than throw-ins, Smaller nets, regulation soccer ball
• 25 x 35 yard field for youth and 30 x 40 yard field for adult

3rd Annual Soccer World Beach Soccer Championships

Toronto - July 25th & 26th: The Annual Beach Soccer Tour hosted by Soccerworld at Polson Pier in Toronto.

We are excited to host this first of its kind tournament here in Toronto. Come out and play on our newly expanded beach soccer fields for your chance to win cash prizes and more!

Wasaga Beach - August 15th & 16th: The tour continues to the lake side resort of Wasaga Beach.The second annual Beach Soccer tournament will be held August 15th & 16th weekend.

In conjunction with the Barrie Soccer Club, Soccerworld is pleased to host this major event for a second year. Last year's tournament was a very exciting and fun-filled weekend for all soccer enthusiasts, with bright sunny weather and warm waters. We look forward to joining you again for another spectacular weekend.

Conditions

• We accept all forms of payment except American Express.
• If writing a cheque please make payable to Soccerworld-Polson Pier.
• 5 players are on the field during play. You can register up to 18 players on a team.

Details

Games:	3 guaranteed
Team size:	10 players max ALL divisions
Competition:	5 a side competition; 4 on the field, plus a goalkeeper. U10-U12's 7 a side.
Field Size:	Size varies by age group; either 25x35 yds or 30x40 yds; goals 6x8 ft thru 7x18 ft.
Uniforms:	Club Team Uniforms.
Prizes:	Individual custom medals, MVP awards and other prizes.
Entry Fee:	$250 Early Bird Dates: Toronto - April 30th Wasaga Beach - May 31st $300 Regular Team Price
